802.1X via Group Policy
Attention, We are implementing 802.1X Authentication Method and in which we are facing difficulty in changing the 802.1X setting via Group Policy however we enable the services with Batch file. I have tried a lot of methods with the seniour System Administrator - googled as well but the solution is with wireless not wired to change the Settings of the Windows but no go. The customer does not want to change with Registry Change on Windows. We need: 1. It should on Protected EAP (PEAP). NOTE: Uncheck the rest of the fields in the sub window 2. Click on Properties Button and Uncheck the Validate server certificates (As we are not using certificates) 3. Click Configure and then Check the Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any) The below information would help you. Microsoft XP - SP2: 700 Client PC's Microsoft XP - SP3: 300 Client PC's Active Directory Server: Windows 2003 - R2 Please note t that the RADIUS and Switch is already configured as per the requirement and we are stuck on Windows 802.1X only.
