802.1X Failure: Network authentication failed due to a problem with the user account
Hello - time is urgent on this, so your help is much appreciated!
I have a new site we're setting up. Clients are Windows 7 Professional laptops authenticating against a Windows 2008
R2 Domain Controller. We are mirroring the 802.1X settings in NPS between two locations - here's our site that works:
In a nutshell, all Domain Computers should be allowed access to the WIFI network.
Here's our site that doesn't work:
The only difference that I can see is the working site has the line "Extensible Authentication Protocol Configuration:
Configured" - I don't know how to make that line appear on the other one (or if it even matters).
On the client side, it fails to connect to the WIFI; when you hit the "tell me more" it displays Network authentication
failed due to a problem with the user account.
Please assist if you're able! Thank you!

Follow-up to my own question, the PEAP authentication did not have a server certificate assigned. Once that was completed, life is good.
