I currently have Windows 8.1 Preview.

Now when I try and download 8.1.  Th store either can not connect to the internet, ( even though i can connect to the internet every other way like search the internet check email) or when i can get to the store the download gets to about 5% after two hours and than my computer restarts.

After the computer reboots I still only have 2 hours.  If i am lucky enough to get into the store and download the 8.1 it starts from 0 percent again. 

So no matter what I do.  My computer can not get 8.1.  I tried a tech number support and was told not to download 8.1 because there are so many issues with it.

I am confused?  I can reset my computer back to 8.0 and I cant do anything else? 

My computer is only a year old and everything is fine on it.  I can even game on it just fine with good frames.  I have plenty of ram and I also have plenty hard drive space.  I have an I4 processor as well.  My computer is fast enough to handle a download to windows 8.1.

For the issue, did you make any changes on the computer before the issue happen?

Please let us try the following steps to narrow down the issue:

Step 1: Try App troubleshooter:

Step 2Clear windows store catch:
1.Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.
2.Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.
3.The Store will now open, and state the following: The cache for the store was cleared. You can now browse the store for apps

Step3:: Delete the Windows Update cache

Press WINDOWS + R combination key, type services.msc, press Enter;
Find out the Windows Update service, right click and stop it;
Located to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution;
Delete the whole SoftwareDistribution folder.

Steps 4: Reset the Windows Update component
