Is usmt is also work with win 7. i.e. scanstate xp and loadstate to win7.
i used it on xp clients, it ending successfully but my settings are not configuring. i.e. connected printers, network drives , outlook settings, no favorites, it only creates folder in documents and settings. i use following command
scanstate \\networkshare
loadstate \\networkshare

I use scanstate on xp machine where i login as domain\user and store the settings on the same computer.
on destination computer (XP) i use loadstate (with administrator) and read settings from the source computer it ending in alll success and 100%
but outlook is not got configured.
scanstate \\sharename\
loadstate \\sharename\
simple scanstate and loadstate were used, please guide

Outlook is not a part of Windows 7 system. Therefore you need to export configurations and emails from Outlook and then import in the new system.
