64 bit server 2003 with Intel PRO/1000 PT connectivity problem
This problem only occurs with Vista clients and not XP clients. It doesnt matter what kind of Vista client attaches to the server, the traffic just "stops" and the client cant browse or copy at more than a couple kbits a second. The same thing happens when using terminal services to connect to the server. This happens with an Intel PRO/1000 PT Desktop Adapter or an Intel PRO/1000 PT Dual Port Server Adapter installed on the server .Whats interesting is that it does not happen with the built in Intel 82566DC Gigabit Ethernet Controller, which is built in to the Intel DP35DP motherboard, and uses the exact same driver as the PRO/1000 adapters above.I filed a bug report on the issue above before service pack one was released and still havent heard any updates.
