I just got 3 mobile broadband and the button is completely greyed out after installation, it says no network and wont allow me to connect eventho everything went smoothly. What setting should I apply? I have seen that this is a general problem? please help, thanks!

Are you certain that the 3 Mobile broadband software is compatible with Windows 7? If not, you can try to run it in compatibility mode. Also, can you see that the drivers for your modem are installed correctly in the Device Manager?

After buying and installing my 3 broadband mobile on Vista for the first time I had the same problem. It seemed to be down to 3's network taking an hour or so to register the dongle was active and let me have a service. I keep fiddling about, but after about an hour it sprang into life on its own.
