3 glitches I'm experiencing with Windows 7 RC
Hi, I just installed Windows 7 RC last week and there are some strange glitches I'm experiencing. 1) When I pin an item to the Start Menu, it gets added to the bottom so I drag it to a high position, then most or all of the items on the Start Menu disappear until I launch an application, then they are all where they should be. 2) When viewing a picture with the Windows Photo Viewer, if I keep maximizing/restoring it, within a few cycles, the navigation buttons at the bottom disappear, but reappear if I mouse over them or keep cycling. Here is a screen shot http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/35025/w7%20glitch.png 3) The WHS Console occasionally turns red and pops up with a warning that I have no spyware protection installed, but goes back to normal within a few seconds. This is a fresh install of Windows with all of the latest drivers installed. Ender, Your third problem has been around since the Security Center was introduced in Windows XP SP2. Some security software is better at reporting its status than others - if this really becomes a nuisance, the best thing to do is to tell Action Center to no longer alert you about misconfigured security software. To do this, open the Action Center from the System Tray, and select "Change Action Center" settings from the left pane. From here, you'll be able to selectively disable alerts.-Alex
