3G Connection Problems on Lenovo T410

I'm trying to get access to the internet using my company's laptop, 3G dongle and SIM card. Though normal internet works fine through the network cable, I cannot connect to the internet onto the internet using the dongle on my work laptop (it does work on
other employees' laptops). I'm using the correct apn settings. It does connect when I use access connections or the Vodafone software, however, the internet still does not work. Can't even ping our servers. Any suggestions? (IT couldn't fix it)
I have noticed, that if I connect to other wireless networks with internet connection or without, access connections says "Internet access" or "No internet access". But if I use the dongle, it says "No network access", after it connected.

I recommend you contact your Interner provider support. Your problem may be specific to the 3G dongle and not the Windows 7.
Be aware that No Internet access does not mean in some cases that you have not access. There is special network awarness mechanism that tests Internet access in intervals until it succeeds.

Milos

Hi,
To reinstall the 3G Vodafone software again first. In the meantime, temporarily disable the firewall and antivirus. Be sure that you can be able to receive the 3G signal.

If the issue persists, youd better run the following commands with high privilege.
>netsh winsock reset
I suggest you contact 3G manufacture for further assistance.Ivan-Liu
