32 bit IE will not go to a HTTPS web site
I have Windows 7 64-bit running. The problem I am having is with IE8 32-bit. I am unable to go to any web site that has HTTPS in it. This started after i got home from a week long trip. I can get to HTTPS sites on my 64-bit IE browser. I have some programs that use the 32-bit portion to get on the web ( MS Money 2007) for infromation and can not because the 32-bit portion will not go to a HTTPS site. It was working before I left on my trip but does not now. I have tried System Restore but it says it fails to restore. Please help me fix this problem, Thanks

I don't have a direct answer, but here's a suggestion... Since different Add-ons work with the 32 bit version as the 64 bit version:Try running Internet Explorer without Add-ons:1. Click the Start orb and type Add-on into the search box.2. When Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) appears, click it.3. Visit your site.If the https: protocol now works in this condition, use the Tools -> Manage Add-ons menu in Internet Explorer itself to disable Add-ons systematically until the functionality is restored under normal operation.-Noel

Noel's suggestion is worth to perform. In addition, you can also try to reload Internet Explorer settings for a test.Reload Internet Explorer settingsThanks,Novak
