2 wireless networking issues
I cannot seem to connect wirelessly with windows 7 to the internet. The first method is using a Linksys wireless USB card, model #: WUSB54AG serial #: MI200DB01161 which Linksys says doesn't have drivers for windows vista or 7 so if anyone has found a work-around I'd like to know. The second method is connecting an ethernet cable to a modified Linksys wireless G router, I know the cable+ router is fine because I use them for an internet connection for a 360 and a linux box. The first issue may not be fixable but the second method should be working.

Did you try to install a wireless card driver using Compatibility mode? It helped me with my adapter.

Hey,I also had the same issue with my vireless card. Windows 7 beta does not come with several vireless card drivers. As soon as my PC was connected to Internet via ethernet, Windows automatically found the driver for my vireless card, and several other drivers. I did not had any problem connecting via ethernet. I believe that Windows 7 beta does not contains the driver for the ethernet adaptor that you are using. Try going to another computer, and download latest drivers for your computer's vireless adaptor, and ethernet adaptor. This should resolve the problem. Zaheer Sheikh

Alright I got one problem solved, the wireless card, but not the other. What I did was this:Find driver/application install CDInstall monitoring program (MAY NOT BE NECESSARY)Open device manager and select the deviceBrowse to the driver files on the CDSelect the "Drivers" folderIMPORTANT do not try and select the "XP drivers" sub-folder it did not like that at all.As for the ethernet issue it turns out that driver is missing too, and I'm not sure of the Motherboard's model or manufacturer so finding those is no longer necessary and also a challenge.I saw another thread about Linksys adapters so if you are thinking of trying one out in the beta try installing the drivers this way. Linksys isn't too keen on keeping drivers for "older" hardware online, I couldn't find any, so if anyone needs the driver files for this model (see 1st post), then let me know.
