2 Computers, only 1 connects RDC
I have two Windows 7 Computers (both running Home Premium). Previously, they both use to connect to RDC, to my office, now only one does. I first have to log into VPN; both computer's VPN and RDC settings are exactly the same. I know it's not the work computer because I can connect via the other machine (well, I don't think it is) I have uninstalled, and reinstalled all my office network connections (VPN and RDC) I have turned off the firewall in Norton I started looking into port 3389 but thought if firewall was turned off it didn't matter (again, not 100% positive) I've tried logging in with both the computer's IP and the computer/server name VPN connection says I'm "connected" with "internet access" when I look in the network connections window The RDC gets hung up on "Configuring Remote Session" before the vague error comes up..."This computer cannot connect to the remote computer. Try connecting again. If the problem continues, contact the owner of the remote computer or your network administrator". Suggestions?
