104-Unsupported wireless network device detected
Hi!I bought a HP compaq NC6000 laptop, but it didn’t come with a wireless card. So I purchased one online from eBay. And we installed it, turned on the computer and right after the HP logo appears. This message comes up: "104-Unsupported wireless network device detected. System Halted. Remove device and restart." can anyone help me on, what’s the problem or how to fix it?Also, I know it’s the right wireless card I did the research. Thanks 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi! I bought it used, and it didnt come with a hardrive either. So i bought one and had it installed and it wroked great. So i tried to connect it to my BELKIN wireless modem. So i called Belkin and they were directing me on what to do:click on the windows bottongo to Control Panelclick on Network and Internet ConnectionsThen, click on Network connection.Which is everything i did, and he said there should be a wireless icon there and there is not i told him.So he told me that i didn't have a wireless card. That i need to get one. And when i do my wireless should work fine.So i call HP and they told me my laptop, should of came with a wireless card.So i guess, It did but i bought it from a bussiness that was going out of bussiness. And they took out the hard drive, So they wont have a risk of any of there information leaking out. And i guess they removed the wireless card as well. Because when i open the back theres no card.Thats why i bought a wireless card and installed it.but when i turn it on this message comes up:"104-Unsupported wireless network device detected. System Halted. Remove device and restart."
