//PC2 is not accessible . You might not have permission to use this network resource ..Help!!
Hello ,I have two laptops that I want to connect with a simple lan cable . One running Windows Vista Ultimate , and the otherrunning Windows Vista Home Premium . I connected them and configured the ip4 properties (IP addresses , IP mask , dns servers ,..etc ) , and sharing .When I try to access the one with Home Premium (PC1)from the one with Ultimate (PC2) , I can . But when I try to accessPC2 from PC1, the following message appears :" //PC2 is not accessible . You might not have permission to use this network resource . Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions .Logon Failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer . "Both computers have passwords assigned with administrator users .The first one asks for a user name and a password , when I type them , I get access .The other one don't even ask for a password , it just shows the previous message . Please help .............!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Emil
