This may be a really stupid question but I've searched and looked everywhere and couldn't find any solution. I've written a small application in VB Express 2010 in a VirtualPC (I'm running Windows7). It runs fine in the XP environment inside the Virtual PC. However, when I try to run the same applicaion on Windows7 I get a .net Framework error "To run this application you must first install one of the following..snip.. v4.0.21006". I have the directory under Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64 so I assume that it's installed. No other applications have any problems. I'm using some of the new features in the framework so it can't be avoided. Any suggestions? I have looked all over the Microsoft site but I can't find anywhere to download the Beta 2 of the framework. I also assume that it got installed on the virtual computer when I installed VB Express 2010. Where do I download just the redist of that version? EDIT: I ran into problems installing the VB 2010 on Windows 7, so that's the reason for why I'm running it on a VPC.

Is it just distributed with Visual Studio dotNet so far because all I can find on MS site is no newer that 3.5.
