I'm working on a Vista Business system and I'm unable to run any progams that require elevated privileges. mmc regedit any file that has an msc exention when i click on a link that has the microsoft shield on it, it doens't go anywhere (normaily i'd get a pop up asking to allow me to run) I get the following error (box): <path to file location> The servcie cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. i can not get into the services.msc to check to see what servcies is disabled. I was able to run safe mode and get into all the programs i want. what are the default services that are running on vista and what is the command prompt to run/start those services.
