(Request) Win 7 Task Scheduler user manual
would like to request Window 7 task schedule manual, I go all around Google but still can't get any manual for it. I would like to know all of the function for "On event trigger" of the log (shown in the picture) I wanted to apply it for error trigger, which mean whenever an application have error, it will trigger a program to screenshot it. Currently I'm able to do it with windows error by using custom trigger which is the application cause windows error that create error eventID. The objective of my needs is every error message that pop out will be trigger my program to capture the screen and store it. I hope some Microsoft expert can help me out for this Thanks

1. Some information is in Windows 7 Resource Kit (but limited) 2. Windows Internals from M.Russinovich may help. 3. I would ask local Microsoft representative/support for help. Regards Milos PS: There is an alternative path, namely "Attach task to this event" triggering functionality directly from Event Viewer. Error description is more informative than desktop picture.

Thanks for your reply. The error appear in event viewer is those windows error only, but application error doesn't create any event ID. I have more than 50 programs to track which doesn't create event ID when it has error. I would like to know what is the error message box handler? Maybe I could use this parameter to trigger my snapshot program. Thanks.

Hi, You can refer to Event Logs, which shows the Application log contains events logged by applications or programs, and program developers decide which events to log. More reference about creating a schedule task, please check the following: Forum FAQ: How to configure a schedule task which is triggered by an event?
