'Temporary Internet' folders NOT generating new names after deleting.(XP pro Sp2 32bit)
As far as i can remember, whenever i cleaned out my temp internet folders, the ones in 'Content.IE " that have randomized names like '11FL3S0H' or 'BQ58IW49' etc., Windows would always come up with newley named files to replace them. Lately My system has been acting a bit sluggish and i'm wondering if this could be related in any way. I clean out my temp files at least once a day, always have. This sluggishness did coincide with my discovery of the temp file names returning after being deleted. Been a week or so now.I get to the temp folder by typing %temp% in the run box. I clean that one out and then backout with the up-arrow button and select the Temporary Internet Files folder- then 'Content.IE '.... It's these folders inside of Content.IE that are myseriously keeping their names. Any thought would be greatly appreciated.1 person needs an answerI do too
