'Request Control' doesn't work while I am doing Remote Assistance.
I can succesfully establish remote assistance, and I am able to view what is going on on my friend's screen. However, when I click on "request control" button to take over the client computer, it just doesn't work. A message appears on my screen saying something like that the client computer is not configured right, but doesn't give any additional information to troubleshoot the issue. I really don't know what to do at this point. I told my friend to go his firewall settings and to see if he can allow any additional programs that are associated with "remote assistance." I watched him to see if there are any additional programs there, and we saw several other programs, which might be associated with remote assistance. As a result, we did not do anything because I hesitated. So please help! I don't even know what is the source of problem.

Hi, To troubleshoot the issue, please try the following steps. 1. Temporarily turn off firewall on each machine. 2. Perform a Clean Boot to check the result. If the issue persists, please refer to the following article to configure Remote Assistance. Manage Remote Assistance Requests Thanks, Novak
