'No Internet access' notification on a perfectly healthy network.
Apologies if this is a repeat question but the other similar looking posts did not seem to help. The Windows 7 clients on our network are all displaying a warning icon in the system tray to indicate that the network is recognised but that the access type is 'No Internet access', but the Internet access itself is working just fine! All Internet access is via an ISA server and the DHCP lease given to the client does not offer a default gateway (by design) so, presumably, the warning is because NLA can’t find whatever it’s looking for to verify internet access. Is there anything I can add to our DNS servers (or other internal services) so that NLA's desires are satisfied? Thanks!

Hi, “No Internet Access” error can be caused by several factors. Here I would like to propose the following suggestions: 1. Update the NIC driver to the latest version. 2. Temporarily disable antivirus software. 3. Do you install the ISA Client on the client machines? How about uninstalling ISA? 4. Please refer to the following similar issue: Windows 7 states No Internet Access even when I can get out to any site?? Windows 7 Connects to local network ok, but No Internet Access Fix No Internet Access in Windows 7 Please note: we provide the third party link as the technical reference, Microsoft doesn’t guarantee any modification on contacting information.
