'Do not have permission' error on ONE network-shared folder from one computer only
I have a shared folder \\servername\sharename$ on my Win2003 server which I (admin user) and my staff can access from all machines. There is ONE win7 pro machine, however, that suddenly lost the ability to access one of this shared folder's subfolders. I get 'You do not have permission to access \\servername\sharedname$\admin\CU' when I try to access it from this one machine. I can access this folder from any other machine, I have full control permissions on it and all its parent folders anyway, and I can also access folders on the same level, \\servername\sharedname$\admin\PR for eg. All users on this machine have this problem. We can access any other network resource I could think of just fine. I tried removing and re-adding this machine to our AD, flush the DSN, deleted my profile, reinstalled the Client For MS Network, tried to boot in safe mode with networking, ran antivirus, deinstalled antivirus, created IRPStackSize in regedit, disconnected IPv6, and then ran out of ideas. I do not want to change anything on the server side, and I shouldn't have to since all other machines are working. At this point I can only think of re-imaging, but I would rather avoid this. Any ideas what I can try next? Thanks! I should add that this machine has been having this issue for months now, and has been rebooted many times.

Thanks for the link, I'd not found that one in searches or tried those changes (except for the 'Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts' settings which I'd found on another forum). Unfortunately, it's not solved my problem, I still cannot access my folder. I'll be glad to try any other ideas; the machine has been removed from circulation and replaced with another until I can get to the bottom of this, or re-image it.

If you've tried all the settings and the issue still persists. I suggest you run Network Monitor to capture the network traffic, then find which steps fail.
