xp domt boot
hey when xp boot it shows me that ntldr is missing press del+alt+crtl to restart i ahave a laptop and the cd rom drive is damaged can anybody help how can i do

Hi, Thank you for the post. The quick resolution is to boot your laptop from USB storage device, copy the ntldr file to c drive from XP OS CD i386 folder via USB storage device. Meanwhile, you could also burning XP OS CD into USB storage device and do the further check according KB below: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816793 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320397 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315261 If there are more inquiries on this issue, please feel free to let us know.
