wmiprvse.exe faults on server with Dell OpenManage

Hopefully someone out there can help!

Is anyone experiencing errors similar to the below?  The system is a Dell PowerEdge R710 with Windows 2012 R2 Standard.  The errors appear to be due to Dell OpenManage Server Administrator and occur every night at the same time.  OMSA is version 7.4.0 and is installed on 5 other similar systems with no issues, so I am curious what the problem could be.  I know that if I uninstall OMSA the errors will go away, but I would like to keep it installed if at all possible.

1. I would address this problem to Dell support. (Dell's software is expected to run without problem in Dell server, if it is version compatible.)

2. This exe reminds me the problem that Mark Russinovich has resolved in his TechEd presentation several years ago. He solved problem with Sysinternals tools and I guess you should follow this procedure too. After narrowning the time window for tests or triggering process during day, you will be able to pinpoint it.

Hi,

Just additional. Please run sfc /scannow command to scan all protected system files. And monitor the result.

Meanwhile, please refer to the following similar thread. It seems that the fix should make it in to OMSA 8.1.
