windows server Backup problem
Hello, I have windows server 2008 r2, and make schedule backup to network share location with administrator password. After couple of days successfully backup i get no back up now. So if administrator password is change can that change make problems with backup?? Yes, changing the administrator password makes troubles as the scheduled backup will not run again. Another thing is that if you have a lockout policy then the used account will be locked. So i can make account and put in backup operator group and make schedule back-up with that account. The most important thing is to use an account with a password that never expire. For backups, you can use this group for performing backups. Also, make sure that the used account have needed NTFS and Share permissions. Hi, yes, changing Admin password will interrup the connectivity between the Server and the network Share. add the new password to the Schedule to make it up and running again. It's recommended that you use a seperate account rather than the administrator account for this process. Thamara.
