windows server 2012 install ie 9
Hi,
Please understand that Windows Server 2012 does not support earlier versions of Internet Explorer, we could only install IE9 in these OS versions mentioned in the list below.
Operating System
Windows Vista 32-bit with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higherWindows Vista 64-bit with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher
Windows 7 32-bit or higherWindows 7 64-bit or higher
Windows Server 2008 32-bit with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higherWindows Server 2008 64-bit with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher
Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit
If you want to uninstall IE 10 from Windows Server 2012, please refer to the method iamrafic provided.

Hi
I have installed windows server 2012 with default IE 10
But i need to uninstall ie 10 and ie 9 because we executing some tests which working only on a IE 9
Is it possible to do that?

Hi,
I'm not sure whether IE9 is available for 2012. I can see only version till 2008 R2.
To remove Internet Explorer 10 on Windows Server 2012, follow these steps:
Open an elevated command prompt.At the command prompt, run the following command:
dism /online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:Internet-Explorer-Optional-amd64
Note Internet-Explorer-Optional-amd64 is case-sensitive.When you are prompted to restart the computer, select Yes.
