Hello, if this is an AD-Integrated zone then it will be replicated using AD replication. If not, you can create a secondary zone: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc775491(WS.10).aspx This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. yes it's AD integrated bu i want to create it on windows server 2008 in a new environment Tarek Khairy Then create it like you already have done it. If this is a DC in your environment then once you install DNS on it, you AD-integrated zones will be replicated. You can try to export / import the zone if this is a new environment: http://www.thedartboard.net/forum/showthread.php?t=122 This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. Hi Tarek, Thanks for posting here. I suspect you were referring the delegation if the color of these sub folders are gray : Delegating a Zone http://technet.microsoft.com/nl-nl/library/cc794863(WS.10).aspx Thanks. Hi Tarek, Thanks for update. Not sure if I understand you properly but the delegation does seem the way for you to achieve the goal, could you take look the link I posted and do some tests in lab which might give a better understanding on this.
