windows server 2003 wsus
I have a WSUS server plus several more servers that get updates from WSUS. The problem is that one of these servers is not displaying in the system tray the little gold shield which indicates that updates are available and ready to download/install. If I do crtl alt del and look through the options. One of options is to install updates and shutdown, But I want to install the updates manually and restart the server so I don't have get off nice warm chair and go and switch the server back on. Does anyone know why is the update icon not appearing??

Hi, Have you checked that the wsus gpo is applied in this server? Try to see if this servers belong to the good OU. In wsus gpo you will find many policies, one of them is to block client machine from restarting after patch being applied. You really have a nice foto ;) so feel free to ask any other question. Good luckBest Regards Don't forget to mark it as answer if it helps
