Attempting to install Windows Server 2003 SP2. This procedure has been performed 45 times, no errors on other servers in the environment. On this server after clicking on the file I downloaded from the MSFT site, a dialog box appears "extraction failed, unable to find window class".

Click on run then write services.msc . Once done go and enable ( or just restart ) all services involving RPC ( Remote Procedure Call) instructions as well as "Server" service. By the way, if the issue continue, it is recommend that you perform an in-place upgrade to repair the problematic system and then install the service pack.
