windows resource kit tools\command shell is it now Windows Support Tools for server 08?
I've been tasked to run a command in command shell that is in windows resource kit tools\command shell. I am on server 2008 standard 32 bit. I checked the server it does not seem to be installed, I searched around and I'm getting the feed back resource kit tools is now support tools for server 08? if this is the case how do I install it? or where do I get it?

Windows Resource Kit and Support Tools no longer exist - much of the functionality was either integrated to the base OS, moved to the Remote Server Administration Tools, or dropped depending. command shell this is the instructions i got. Start > All Programs > Windows Resource Kit Tools > Command Shell cd c:\ Program Files\SYMANTEC\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.671.4971.105\hlscan.exe /dir "c:\Program Files\SYMANTEC\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.671.4971.105\" > c:\outfile.txt I tried it in dos. the hlscan.exe file cant be found

in remote server admin tools I see \win deploment services tools which includes command-line tool. is that what took the place of the command shell?

ok folks thanks for the help. I installed the win svr 03 resource kit and the command shell is in there it looks just like dos. The file that is needed is in the resource kit its the hlscan.exe crazy right all that for that file lol any who.
