Hi, Please see if the answer given in following thread helps in your case Slow Shutdown of Windows 7 64 bit computer http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproperf/thread/9b3ff136-8a71-444b-bb80-2973ff838693 You can use Group Policy Preference to change the registry settings on Windows 7 machines Just refer the article below which shows how to use GPP, actual suggestion given in that article is not relevant in this case :-) http://www.unidesk.com/blog/gpos-set-custom-registry-entries-virtual-desktops-disabling-machine-password I do not represent the organisation I work for, all the opinions expressed here are my own. How are things going?

Sofar all fixes seems not to be working. Taking an alternate approach where I am reconfiguring a new machine, installing wireshark, file monitoring tool and creating new OU blocking all inheritance. We will first create capture packets just putting the machine on the network, then create a new set when joining the domain and then taking it step by step adding individual GPO configs. Slow going but maybe the best, I do have some boot logs if someone can look at them? Thanks all in advance....

Hi, Please also try the following steps. 1. Go to Start, type Group Policy in the Search Box and then click Edit group policy. 2. Expand the following item from the left pane: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Logon 3. Double click "Always wait for network at computer startup and logon" setting on the right pane, choose Disable and then click OK. Exit Group Policy Editor and check the result. If the issue persists, I suggest you perform a Clean Boot for a test. By the way, if you test the method above, but this issue still persists, please also ask in win 7 forum. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itpronetworking/threads Best regards,
