windows 2008 very slow boot
We have a 2008std r2 64 bit windows server, that very rairly gets rebooted. If we have to, it takes upto a day for it to reboot. Noticably, it hangs on "applying offline files policy" and "please wait for group policy client", for upto 8 hours
each. After the login screen it seems to boot quickly. When the server has booted, it seems to run okay. We regularly do windows updates. It runs sql 2008, but isn't used particularly. We have checked the logs and it references the bootup times but gives no
error messages or clues. Where is the best place to start troubleshooting?

Hello Gosi123,
Please try to enable

Wait for network for maximum option is 0 seconds under
