windows 2008 DNS Question
we have a large Network Infrastructure, 22 sites aroud the world.we are migrating from Windows 2000 Forest with MultiDomains to Windows 2008 Single Forest - Domain. My question :Is there away , in dns windows 2008, that can help to redirect users to nearest intranet web site in the site where they are.ex: Site A ( beijing) and Site B ( Paris) we users in beijing when they want to connect to Intranet they should use the one in beijing not in Paris, they should use the one in their subnetI hope it's clear , and Thank YouMCSE 2003

Younssi, This is absolutely possible and one of the things I love about DNS. It is called netmask ordering and has been in Microsoft DNS since (at least) 2000. Here is an article the does a pretty good job of explaining it, but if you need and further help let us know:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842197If you need extra help, you can reach us at: InitialAssist@cbfive.com See my blogs at http://www.cbfive.com/blog / Jared
