i am a network trainer & i didn't know that USMT is not supported in windows server editions.so was shocked & ashamed when the first time started to teach USMT in my class in windows server 2012 R2 & i encountered the error message describing: "USMT is not supported on windows server .... "

now what replacement (alternative) exist in windows server ?

imagine i have a windows server with multiple user profiles & i need to migrate them like what we doin windows 8.1

For migrating users/computers/groups/servers etc, you can use ADMT tool for AD environment.
