what is the release date?
Hi
sorry if this has been asked before...
Basically, I am doing a implementation in the next few months of 6 servers and various desktops, and I was just wondering if I should proceed with Windows 2003, or wait for Windows 2008?
Also, are there any limitations or anything special I need to know about to install Vista clients on 2003?
Thanks

Microsoft has never stated Dec 2007 as the release date. Our official release schedule can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/evaluation/overview/roadmap.mspx

I believe you can get the answer byasking yourself following question: What's the purpose of this server implementation?Do you foresee thatyou need the additional features offered in Windows Server 2008 for this implementation? Will the application that you plan to run on these servers compatible with Windows Server 2008? How much time do you need to carry out testing ofyour application when the OS is release? Will the delay in implementation affect your organisation's objective in implement these new servers?
