I'm looking for information and reading material on how to configure DNS and IIS to host web sites for other companies (it would also include Exchange hosting). Does Microsoft have any kind of platforms for a SMB to do this? What are the licensing aspects of hosting web sites? It can't be just as simple as loading IIS on a 2008 box, creating multiple sites, playing with the host header, and then pointing the A record to the IP.... there's got to be more to it than that. Also, does anybody have any experience with using Exchange in hosted mode? How's that working out for you?
