I was getting a blue error message stating i may have software or hardware issues, my cousin took out the video card and it was fine then the one stick of ram and tried switching banks and it will run fine on 1gb of ram but when sticking the 2nd one in wont start up at all now and just has a black screen! If i put the other stick of ram in that same bank it will run fine with this one but just not both at once????? Any idea what is wrong with this????

This appears to be very much a hardware related issue. Are you using similar memory brand, model, speed, etc. in both banks? Or do you mean the RAM memory on the video graphics card itself?
