undoing- opening files with admin priv
I run win 7 6.1 (build7600) and i may have inadvertantly opened file with admin priv' Luckilly i think it is only maybe one possibly two, now i want to change that back to just standard user owner, excuse my ignorance as i am trying to learnAlex MacDonald

I have not understood well what you said. To take ownership of a file / folder, refer to this Microsoft article. If you want to allow /deny a user to access files / folders then check NTFS permissions for this files / folders.
