unable to remove clusterd fileshare

Hi,

2 node hyper-v 2012r2 cluster
VMM 2012r2 setup as guest cluster
VMM 2012r2 Library as guest cluster

I successfully added the Library clustered nodes and VCO (clusternode-n1 + clusternode-n2 + clustervirtualobject-001) into VMM as part of the Infrastructure.

for demo purpose I needed to remove those objects from VMM again, no problem to remove the nodes, but for the VCO I receive access denied (VMM error 13804), same error also occurs when VMM tries to query the library share.

Whatever I try, always running back into same errors. Any input on how to clean this object from VMM?

Hi Sir,

I searched VMM error codes and got this :

13804

Access to the cluster %ComputerName; was denied.

Ensure that the specified credentials have access to query cluster resources
and then try the operation again.

When we add library server into VMM we need to use Cluster admin account , I would suggest you to check if  anything happend on that account first .

Hi, the runas account used has full admin rights on the cluster.

as workaround I removed 2 records from the VMM DB referring to the fileshare, currently no more errors ...anyhow, thanks for the advice.
