unable to install windows components
Hi all,Ihave a windows 2003 Enterprise server. When I go to Add-Remove programs, and then click on Add Windows Components,I get an error:"Setup library whsoc.dll could not be loaded or function WHSSetupProc could not be foundContact your system admininstrator. the specific error code is 0x7e."Then it says "The application could not be initialized."I am logged in as Domain Administrator. This server is running Service Pack 2.I need to be able to get back the windows components functionality.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Keymart,
This issue seems to happen due to the loss of library file whsoc.dll, would you please refer to the following steps to check if it is helpful?
Steps:
1. Click Start, point to Control Panel, and then click System.
2. On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
3. Under System Variables, click Path, and then click Edit.
4. Click inside the Variable value box, and then press END to put the insertion point at the end of the Variable value box.
5. Type %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\WBEM, and then click OK.
6. Click OK, and then click OK.
7. Copy the whsoc.dll from a working machine to the location of C:\windows\system32\setup on the problematic server.
If the issue continues, please refer to the following KB to perform an in-place upgrade of Windows Server 2003
