trouble for port 8080 for Apache web server on running on Windows 2008 Enterprise server
I have installed Windows 2008 Enterprise on my server and it is a domain controller. I have a domain name intra.mycompany.com.Now I have installed Apache web server 2.2.14 and installed subversion. I used Apache httpd configuration. on the server I browsed the url http://localhost:8080, I see message "It works". But from another computer as client it did not work: I typed url as http://intra.mycompany.com:8080. it returns error message that the page can not be found. If I typed url as http://intra.mycompany.com. it points to default page for IIS 7.0.I have questions as following:from my client browser, the url intra.mycompany.com will be served by IIS( default port is 80). but for 8080 port how is routed to Apache server instead of IIS which is not set up to serve the port 8080?Please give me some clues....Thanks a million,
