to remove the lock screen password
please help me to remove the lock screen password . it is creating problem as while opening my laptop the Microsoft account password is always demanded .even if given often it shows error

Which version of Windows you are using.
Enable or Disable lock screen in Windows 71) Click "Start" and select"Control Panel" When Control Panel open in Category View select View by "Large Icon" located at the upper right corner of the control panel, then select"Power Options" under Power Options click "Require a password on wakeup".
2) Under the "Password protection on wakeup" click on"Change settings that are currently unavailable"
3) After clicking on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" the Radio buttons below it will be available. Click on "Don't require a password" radio button and click on "Save Changes" button and your done, next time Windows goes to sleep and wakes up you will not be prompted with the lock screen.
4) To enable the lock screen select or click on "Require a password (recommended)" radio button instead of "Don't require a password" radio button and save your changes.

1) In Windows 8 point your mouse on the extreme lower right portion of the desktop screen and wait for the options to pop-up then select "Setting" and click on "Control Panel". When Control Panel open in Category View select View by "Large Icon" located at the upper right corner of the control panel, then select"Power Options" under Power Options click "Require a password on wakeup"
2) Under the"Define power buttons and turn on password protection" Click on the link "Change settings that are currently unavailable". When you click the link the "Password protection on wakeup" option will be available and you can click on the radion buttons, click on "Don't require a password" radio button and Save settings.
3) The next time Windows goes to sleep and wakes up you will not be prompted with the lock screen.
4) To enable the lock screen again select or click on "Require a password (recommended)" radio button instead of "Don't require a password" radio button and save changes.

you can easily remove the lock screen password using group policy editor. Follow the steps:
1. launch RUN (win+ R) and then type gpedit.msc , press enter. It will open
group policy editor;
2. Navigate through Computer configuration >> Administrative Template >> control panel >> personalization.
In right side panel double click on Do not display the lock screen and set the value Enabled.
