Misleading question at best.1) A secure connection is usually between a computer and the DC.2) A Trust (but still considered a secure connection) is between DCs of the various domains.3) There is no child domain of a Forest. There are only Domains in a forest, and the first Domain is typically called the Forest Root Domain.4) Domains may be childern or sisters of the forest root domain. (domain1.com and domain2.com are sisters, child.domain1.com would be a child of domain1.com)use the following to verify a trust between the domains.netdom trust domain2.com /domain:domain1.com /verifyuse the following to test a Secure Channel on the current computer with the specified domain.Nltest /sc_verify:forest.com
