temporary user profiles

hello,

in my organisation we have about 160 users. In the current situation each time a user loggs on
to a workstation it saves a local profile on the workstation. I don't want this anymore, i want the users to receive a temporary profile when they log on to the workstation and that this temporary profile is deleted after the user loggs off. if the users
have personal files they can place them on a shared folder or usb stick.

does anybody know a way to achieve this.

kind regards

Hello,
You can use of group policy settings to achieve this by deleting the user profile on reboot.
Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/System/User Profiles/Delete user profiles older than a specified number of days on system restart

Also look at this article -

Remember user gets temporary profile when there are permissions issues or no disk space is left on the drive, it's not feature that can be used. It's better to use the GPO setting or configure a script to delete user profile at logoff/restart.
