technical and functional design
we dont use predifined design manuals for creating technical environments at our company. But, i would like to start teaching our junior consultants the same way of desinging environments for customers. The problem is that i cannot find any info on the net or in bookstores about technical and fuctional designs for technical windows environments. Does anyone know if books about thecnical and functional designs for windows environments exist? Or has Microsoft information available for that purpose? The reason for asking is really simple, the difference between designs done by different consultants are too big.

In a technical design they need to design the dnsstructure, dhcpstructure,...

However, I would recommend that you read the Microsoft Design guides for each role you want to implement. I already provided you with the one related to DCs.
