Hi,
You can use shrink command to shrink the partition and then create a new partition with the unallocated disk space.

thanks, I tried that this morning, but now I can't find the unassigned partition/space ;/ list volume/partition doesn't show it

I have 2 partitions on the server - 1 for the OS and another larger one for data, I need to split the larger data partition into 2 partitions. How can I do that with server core through command prompt?
