share security
Hi....
I have a windows server 2003 on a PC called "share" and I'm sharing some files to some users on a domain
but I'm in the meddle of switching between tow domains and i want to change the domain on "share" PC to the other domain
how can I do that and keep the security on the file?
more info:
the new domain has the exact user names and computer names as the old one
the new one pharmaplast.local and the old one pharmaplast.lan
till now all users on the new domain and "share" PC on the old one
the users enter their user name\old domain and the old password to connect to "share" PC that is on the old one
so is there anyone can help me on that problem
thanks in advance

Hi,
If the user still use old user name and password to access the shares, you don’t need change NTFS and share permission on the shared folders.
If the user use their new user name and password, try ADMT tool as Ricsao suggested.
