Hello, I just realized I never activated one of my server 2008 servers (setup over 6 months ago)... I am legitimitely licensed for everything, but I just never activated... I am suprised that nothing stopped working? My desktop background color is black, but the server has not had any issues running what it was configured to do, ADDS, DNS, DHCP, WDS, etc... all has worked with no issues, with no activation.. so my question is, what happens when you never activate? Don't you loose functionality?

HelloI think since you have a non evaluation copy of windows server 2008, you have up to 240 days to activate it..But you will continue to see the black screen o=until activation is successfull..Isaac Oben MCITP:EA, MCSE
