hi I have a domain controller 2008 R2 in a company and I have a problem with showing my DC name in client's my network places ,and it is my file server too,so I have to map it for my clients or give them DC's IP . I want to know that is there any solution for showing my DC's name in network ? thanks everyone

Please start the computer browser service and give a try. You should also try disabling the firewall on the server in case if you are not able to to see the server after you start the service http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin
