script the login to a web form
I need to log my users into a webpage (internal) presented by a proxy server using LDAP (AD) to authenticate the users. The proxy can eother present them with the standard windows popup or a form. Ideally I woudl like to run a scritp during logon that requests the login page from the proxy and passes the username and password in the background automatically. If I need to pop up the browser and then automatically enter the username and password and submit thats ok. The main requriment is to automate this. Is the even possible and if so coudl somene provide some guidance. The proxy will give the user a cookie when authenticated for whatever method ised needs to be able to support the acceptance of a cookie, ideally this would be over HTTPS also but HTTP is ok if necessary. Thanks.
