not sure if this is posted in the right place, but i have a sbs server (2008) that shutsdown randomly. the event logs show nothing that would be of any concern. The server is on a UPS and the logs on that show no power problems. anyone have any suggestions as to where i can look to find what is causing this. thanks Clive

hi, found the problem, i know its late to let you know. my issue was caused by using the wrong ups. i have an apc ups attached, BUT IT MUST BE A SMARTUPS which mine wasn't.
