I'm working on some scripts automating instalation and configuration of roles. In my testing environment i do all the time add-windowsfeature, remove-windowsfeature and a lot of netsh commands My problem is that (for example) when I do some RRAS configuration, remove role and add it again those settings from before removing did not set back to defaults What i'm looking for is the way to reset all possible settings/options/entries of specific role (or whole server) to defaults so server has exact configuration like just after installation. Of course formatting disk every day is not a solution

You could consider using DPM. DPM has functionality to restore a server to a point in time when a recovery point was made.
